On the 12th of September 2003, shortly before his 18th birthday, Alek passed away...

Alek's memories...
...My name is
ALUŚ
well really ALVARO Andzi Chatka

On the 20th of September 2002 I had my 17th birthday

and I had a dream...

... listen what it was about!!!

... about when I was a baby, I was only 4 weeks old and together with my mother and my brothers I played like any other happy puppy...

... about when on one November day (Novemeber the 1st) 1985 I arrived at Kasia's and Wojtek Lazar home.

...about how my first veeeery long day passed by when I was getting to know new friends like greyhound "Beja" with whom I shared many adventures, happiness and sad moments...

... once, when we went for a training-walk (before the Polish Racing Competition) we got shot. I only had a few pellets to be taken out and though a few of them stayed in my paw I got well pretty soon.

Bej got it worse, his chest was shot and one of his lungs was hurt:(((

But we also had a lot of beautiful moments, walks, holidays, shows ...
...and at the World's Show in Brno...

in the champions' class, among 12 other participating dogs,
-I was the third-

There were many shows, some I won,
I was also the Best in Show of Veterans in Poznan'96!!!!

there is a shelf with all my trophies,
maybe they are not very impressive but I was shown and I ran in the times when for big successes I would get for example a ceramic beetroot or a wooden fork form a Craft Shop. But all these souvenirs are still among dogs' trophies.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!
I just remembered how beautiful and young I was those day...
Now I am still pretty
and everybody who knows me can confirm it.

... and now please, be quiet and calm

...maybe I'll dream more....
